“Sometimes, the best way to move forward is to take a moment to pause, breathe and make memories.”

The educational tour to Mount Abu, Rajasthan, from 28th October to 1st November 2026, was a welcome break for the students of Class X, offering them some much-needed relaxation after months of academic pressure and rigorous preparation ahead of their ICSE examinations.

The excitement began with the train journey. The students made the most of their time together, chatting, playing games, sharing food and quite literally, letting loose.

The tour offered a wonderful blend of adventure, learning, exploration and recreation. Students explored the natural rock formations at Toad Rock, enjoyed a walk through the city, participated in adventure activities and spent leisure time swimming.

A visit to the magnificent Dilwara Temples gave them an opportunity to appreciate the intricate architecture, religious significance and exceptional craftsmanship of these historical structures. They also explored the local market, experienced the local delicacies and enjoyed each other’s company.

The hotel’s recreational facilities added to the excitement, with students making the most of table tennis, carrom, foosball and pool. A special DJ Night brought everyone together, giving them an opportunity to dance, unwind and enjoy an evening away from their usual routines.

One of the highlights of the trip was the opportunity to disconnect from the digital world, as mobile phones were not permitted. Instead, the children rediscovered the joy of simple, traditional games such as Catch and Cook, Cops and Robbers and several other outdoor games. Some even displayed their creativity by inventing their own games, keeping their roommates entertained within the confines of their rooms. These moments of spontaneous fun, laughter and interaction made the experience all the more special.

The final day brought everyone together through fun-filled team-building games and activities organised by the teachers, adding to the spirit of camaraderie and togetherness.

Beyond the sightseeing and activities, the tour offered something far more meaningful: a chance for the students to step away from their books, classroom routines and examination expectations. It allowed them to reconnect with friends, rediscover the joy of playing without screens and appreciate the simple pleasures of spending time together.

Mount Abu became more than just a destination, it became a much-needed pause in their Class X journey, a reminder that some of the best school memories are made not during lessons, but in the moments shared along the way.
